A part-time business of a former cheesemonger, Maggie Bradshaw, Truckle Cheesemongers' revenue sources were mainly private catering events, sales at local business events and sales at several local markets.
Black Betty, a special Brabander goat gouda released only once a year, prompted IGNITE to propose a new B2C subscription sales model for a monthly cheese share. Launch timeline to meet the holiday gifting season was less than one week. |
IGNITE helped with pricing and sales strategy and project managed the launch. IGNITE also handled influencer relations to help spread the word to quickly build brand recognition and generate memberships.
Since its launch in November 2018, Truckle Cheesemongers nearly tripled the number of Cheese Share memberships. In October 2019, Truckle Cheesemongers opened a brick and mortar cheese counter in the Blue Bee Cider's Summit Stables, creating a direct retail outlet. |

When brothers Brad and Barry Haneberg shared eau de vie in the mountains of Germany, an idea sparked for a family business.
The Haneberg family purchased a vintage Charentais-style alembic still from France and founded Virago Spirits, a craft distillery producing rum, gin, brand and herbal liqueurs in Richmond, Virginia. |
IGNITE partnered with Big Spoon to lead Virago Spirits through its launch in November 2018, providing organization and focus though project management.
From February to September 2019, IGNITE transitioned to supporting Virago's national expansion through media buying, media relations and leading comprehensive marketing efforts. |

Inspired by history, Harry Watkins and Arvat McClaine decided to create a space on the historic Richmond Canal Walk that pays homage to the rich history of African American bateaumen who navigated the James River waterways to help build Richmond and Virginia.
